LINDA PITMAN takes over as Sutter Health Kahi Mohala’s chief operating officer. For the past 20 years Pitman has constructed high-performing leadership and clinical teams with her broad health and operational management background. She is known for utilizing a dynamic, hands-on approach to improve organizational management. Her extensive background includes re-engineering operations, process improvement, alliance building, and expansion operations at Aurora Las Encinas Hospital, Mission Community Hospital, Silverlake Medical Center and Haven Behavioral Healthcare in California.

MIGHTY BINONWANGAN returns to the Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties’ Leeward office as an independent agent. Binonwangan, who is originally from Maui, has a background in architectural design and project management. He also holds a degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Prior to this change, he resided in Japan where he worked for an architectural firm and studied Japanese.

SHANNON YOUNG moves up to director of clinic operations at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii. She will oversee operations for Kaiser Permanente’s Windward and Leeward facilities on Oahu at Kahuku, Kailua, Waipio, Nanaikeola, Kapolei and the Koolau medical office. Her other responsibilities include overseeing care delivery programs like patient support services and health education. Young, a graduate from the University of Washington’s nursing program, has spent the last two decades as a diabetes educator and nurse.

BILL ROL, a community relations officer at Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union-Waipahu Community Office, has recently achieved certification as an International-Credit Union Development Educator. Rol is the first credit union officer in Hawaii to attain this prestigious distinction. He has a business administration degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

LISA BANKSTON from Honolulu Cookie Company has been appointed E-commerce manager. She is responsible for Honolulu Cookie Company’s revenue-generating online presence and customer service division, designing front-end functionality for superior customer experience and operational efficiencies for the company. Bankston, who is an E-commerce industry veteran, graduated from Johnson C. Smith University in North Carolina and holds a master’s degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

JEFFREY ESLINGER joins the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau (HVCB) as senior director of market insights. His duties include analyzing trends affecting tourism in Hawaii and HVCB programs. Eslinger’s evaluation of consumer, economic, business and general travel trends will help market Hawaii as a leisure and meetings destination. Additionally, he also will direct marketing effectiveness research and analysis. Eslinger graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He has 17 years of experience in the travel industry.
