A LOOK AT WHO’S ON THE MOVE ON OAHU

DR. ANNY CHING joins the family medicine department at Kaiser Permanente Honolulu Medical Office. After earning her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine she went on to serve as chief resident in the Long Beach Family Medicine Residency Program in Long Beach, California. Ching most recently worked as a primary care physician at MemorialCare Medical Group in Long Beach, California and is board certified in family medicine.

DAVID WASHBURN is the new regional chief development officer at American Red Cross. He will lead his team as they aid disaster victims, teach lifesaving skills and provide services to the armed forces in the Pacific Islands region. Washburn most recently served as director of Institutional Giving at Honolulu Museum of Art and has nearly 25 years of experience in nonprofit management, business development and community outreach.

DARRELL KIMURA, an independent agent of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties Honolulu office has been designated a Global Luxury Team Member. In addition to being a Senior Real Estate specialist he also will showcase the company’s luxury property collection. Kimura holds more than two decades of construction industry experience and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

KRISTIE CHANG steps in as regional director of accounts – East Coast at the Hawaii Convention Center. With her more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Chang will be responsible in developing business leads for association meetings from groups based in the U.S. east and south regions. She comes from serving as the director of events at Vicki Johnson & Associates as well as at Women in Cable Telecommunications.

MATTHEW YETTER takes over as IT manager at Honolulu Federal Credit Union (HFCU) where he will plan, develop, administrate and execute shortand long-range plans for HFCU’s implementation and use of technology. Yetter brings more than 15 years of experience in communications maintenance and IT management to the role, including previously serving in related senior roles at Hawaii Pacific University (HPU). He holds two master’s degrees and two bachelor’s degrees, all obtained from HPU.

VALERIE TENGAN advances to vice president and customer and industrial loan documentation manager at First Hawaiian Bank for its Commercial Loan Center. She will serve as the division’s key leader. Tengan first joined the bank in 2000 as an assistant in Wholesale Loan Servicing before transferring to the Commercial Loan Center in 2002.
