RICHARD WITT steps in as Hawaii district manager of Honolulu Cookie Co. where he will spearhead daily oversight of all 13 retail locations statewide. Witt started his retail career at Footlocker in Aiea as store manager until moving to Lids, eventually stepping in as district sales manager. From there, he would lead Lids Districts in Hawaii, Los Angeles and New York on top of running the 40,000-square-foot Super Bowl XLVII NFL shop in New Orleans.

KEANU SANTANA of Wet‘n’Wild Hawaii advances to operations manager. He started with the waterpark four years ago as a lifeguard, working his way up to lead guard, aquatics supervisor, then operations supervisor until earning his current promotion. In addition to ensuring all safety standards are upheld, Santana also will oversee scheduling, recruiting, hiring and training for security, housekeeping, first-aid and aquatics.

CINDY MIRAL is the new assistant vice president of Commercial Lines Operations at Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. where she will develop and mentor new account managers. Miral started as an assistant underwriter with Atlas in 1996, moving her way up through several positions including unit manager in 2016. She is a certified insurance service representative as well as a certified insurance counselor.

CELESTE AKIU takes over as principal at Holy Family Catholic Academy. She comes from 27 years as an educator and principal at River Middle School in Napa, California. A Sacred Hearts Academy alumnus, Akiu went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii and a master’s degree from Central Michigan University. She is on track to earn her Doctor of Education from Brandman University in California next May.

MARCY RAPP moves up to director of pharmacy services of The Queen’s Health Systems. Having been with the medical center since 2007, she served as a clinical pharmacist from 2008 to 2013, and is credited toward initiating the Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Program. Rapp was awarded Innovative Pharmacist of the Year and Distinguished Pharmacist of the Year by the Hawaii Pharmacist Association. In her new role, Rapp will provide clinical oversight, training and development for pharmacy services across the system.

CRAIG COLLADO joins WhiteSpace Architects as a project manager. He is now responsible for assisting in the design of a luxury residential project in Aina Haina and the renovation of a waterfront building adjacent to Honolulu Harbor. Collado previously held senior associate architect at Peter Vincent Architects, but most recently was job captain and project architectural technician at G70. He returns to the company after 13 years, first entering as an intern in 2005.
