A LOOK AT WHO’S ON THE MOVE ON OAHU

AMY PESANTE joins iQ 360 as vice president at the communication firm’s Honolulu office. She now will oversee the company’s communications and market strategy, and execution for several clients. Pesante has a vast background in the industry, most recently as the director of corporate and financial communications for Prudential Financial. She attended University of Hawaii at Manoa where she received bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics.

CHRIS PRENDERGAST now is principal broker of 20 Degrees North Real Estate, a new Hawaii Brokerage. In his new role, Prendergast will oversee company operations, contracts and compliance. In addition to most recently working as broker in charge at RE/MAX Prestige and broker associate at Locations LLC, Prendergast also served as a Realtor for two decades.

DR. STEVEN BRIMMER steps in as scientific director of toxicology for Diagnostic Laboratory Services Inc. where he will be directing clinical and forensic toxicology testing. Brimmer has held several consulting and managerial positions at laboratories across the nation, and previously was director of Microanalytical Laboratory at University of California-Berkeley. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University and a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati.

TINA SPARACIO takes on the head of event production role at Gourmet Events Hawaii (GEH). With more than 20 years of hospitality experience in the competitive entertainment and gaming industries, she will contribute executive-level insight and management to the GEH team and ensure the success of clients’ events. Hailing from the East Coast, Sparacio’s initial move to the Islands included enhancing special events for nonprofit sectors.

PATRICIA “PATTI” BULATAO is Windward Mall’s new specialty leasing manager by JLL, the mall’s real estate and investment management team. She will be responsible for the center’s specialty leasing program, collaborating closely with JLL Hawaii and Windward Mall’s marketing team. Bulatao holds 17 years in commercial real estate experience, having worked with Marcus and Associates, and Sofos Realty.

DR. FRANKLIN LEE comes on board at Pali Momi Medical Center as part of the urology department. As a urologist, Lee specializes in minimally invasive surgeries, robotic surgery, erectile dysfunction, male incontinence, kidney stone disease, urologic oncology, and prostate, kidney and bladder cancer. He attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his urology residency at the University of Washington. Lee also is board certified in urology.
