GEORGIA MCCULLOUGH is Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific’s (REHAB) new utilization review/risk manager. With more than 30 years of industry experience, she is slated to be an effective team leader. McCullough previously served as clinical risk manager at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in California, and served in law offices as a litigator on behalf of hospitals and medical groups. Mccullough also formerly worked as a registered nurse at Kaiser Permanente and Cedars Sinai Medical Center for 10 years.
GEOFF PEARSON moves up to director of sales and marketing for all domestic and international markets at luxury resort Halekulani. Prior to his new, expanded role, Pearson was responsible for the resort’s sales and marketing efforts across the U.S. as well as international markets outside of Asia. He brings to the position valuable knowledge stemming from his years of luxury hospitality experience at Halekulani, as well as his aptness in international sales strategies in all markets.
SHARON VIDAL joins Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties as an independent agent at the firm’s Leeward office. She most recently served as a Realtor-associate at Watanabe International Inc. prior to joining the company. Vidal has been successful in owning and operating a massage therapy practice before stepping into the real estate brokerage industry. She graduated from the University of Portland, Oregon with a degree in business.
MELDRICK ZUNIGA steps in as a civil designer at design firm G70. His new duties include collaborating with project teams to evaluate, analyze, prepare and produce drawings and renderings that convey and articulate engineering and architectural ideas and concepts. Zuniga attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering.
CHI HOON BANG of Waikiki Parc Hotel now will spear-head the hotel’s domestic and international markets as its new director of sales and marketing. As part of the recent reorganization of Waikiki Parc’s sales team, Bang’s regions of responsibility have expanded from overseeing only the Asia market to include a much larger scope. Bang is expected to be a successful leader, bringing to the position several years of luxury hospitality experience.
BRIANA SHEA-O’CONNELL has been hired as nurse case manager with Ekahi Health. In her new role, she will ensure the clinical care of participants in her assigned divisions. Shea-O’Connell is a registered nurse and carries vast experience, having served in several hospitals and hospices prior to joining Ekahi Health. She most recently comes from Honolulu’s St. Francis Hospice, gaining experience in its after-hours triage, admissions and inpatient unit, in addition to other departments.
