A LOOK AT WHO’S ON THE MOVE ON OAHU

DR. DOUGLAS KWOCK steps up at Hawaii Pacific Health as associate chief medical officer. He will spearhead special system-wide projects, as well as assist with recruitment, leadership development and care transformation. Kwock earned his medical degree from University of Hawaii at Manoa. He also completed his pediatric residency at Duke University and his fellowship at Stanford University.

PATRICIA MIYASHIRO is the newly appointed assistant vice president of Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. With more than two decades of industry experience, she will manage the surety and bond department, while providing leadership and strategic guidance for Atlas. Miyashiro earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Hawaii at Manoa and is president of Hawaii Surety Association.

JONATHAN ITO advances from benefit services lead to benefit services manager at ProService Hawaii. He now will oversee ProService’s health care benefit services team, supporting the agency’s more than 34,000 work-site employees. Ito joined the company in 2010 as a human resources associate and graduated from University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree.

JILLIAN OKAMOTO of Catholic Charities Hawaii (CCH) moves up to division administrator of its housing-assistance and referral programs. Her new role will require her to provide leadership to programs serving families, individuals and military veterans who are homeless or are at risk of becoming so. Okamoto attended University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in speech and a master’s degree in social work.

TAWANA SCOTT joins DTRIC Insurance as its new vice president of commercial lines. In addition to overseeing her immediate department, she also will be responsible for the risk-consulting and reinsurance departments. Scott offers more than 30 years of industry experience to the job, and just prior to joining DTRIC, she served as underwriting director with KB Insurance Co. Ltd. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey.

MAYUKH CHATTERJEE has been named the new area director of revenue for both Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort and Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. In his new role, Chatterjee will develop multiple management strategies for potential revenue opportunities for the resorts. He most recently served as director of revenue for InterContinental Boston.
