A LOOK AT WHO’S ON THE MOVE ON OAHU

SUSANA RIBEIRAOMARCZAK is Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort’s new director of revenue management of transient markets. She has 21 years of hotel management experience, including senior positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, TPF Hospitality and other luxury hotels in New York, New Jersey and the Mid-Atlantic. Ribeirao-Marczak also is fluent in Portuguese, French, Italian and Spanish.

JEFF BARNARD joins HomeBridge Financial Services as a loan processor for the company’s Oahu offices. With more than a decade of mortgage industry experience he now will specialize in overseeing each client’s file, from pre-approval to closing. Barnard previously served in several specialist and management positions across the Wells Fargo system.

YVONNE BORREE steps into the director position at Honolulu’s Alive Ballet Academy, where she will teach dancers of all levels and skills. Her successful dance career includes performing on the most renowned stages around the world for more than 20 years, and dancing as a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. Borree also was a dance educator at the School of American Ballet in New York City.

ANDREW GILES moves up at Kaiser Permanente to assistant administrator for hospital operations and support services. He has been with the company since 2015 as an administrator on call and the operation project leader for the Maui Health System transition. In his new position, Giles will oversee multiple departments, including environmental services, food and nutrition, communications, spiritual care, parking, the gift shop and the lift team.

DENALEE CHOY has been appointed director of communication and extended school programs with Hongwanji Mission School. Her background includes more than 10 years in education, and she previously served as an educator of technology and English at Noelani Elementary. Choy is a graduate of Shidler College, and also earned a doctorate in education administration from University of Southern California.

GREG MATSUURA now is the commercial lines account manager assistant within Atlas Insurance Agency’s Operations Unit. Matsuura started as an intern with the agency from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in January 2017. His new duties include providing administration support to account managers, while also servicing the agency’s commercial clients in accordance with Atlas’ policies and procedures.
