RUCHI KUMARI joins Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center as a hospitalist. She earned her medical degree from the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey — where she was also active in teaching. Kumari went on to complete her residency as chief medical resident at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. Additionally, Kumari is board certified in internal medicine.

LESLIE YUEN advances to vice president and portfolio reporting business architect in the credit portfolio reporting and analysis department at Bank of Hawaii. She is responsible for internal reporting on asset quality and credit risk to the board of directors and executive management, while also continuously evaluating processes for efficiencies. Yuen has nearly 20 years of experience, 15 of those at Bank of Hawaii.

HOLLY CHUN-MING steps in as senior risk consultant in the risk control and claims management unit at Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. She will be responsible for managing and providing risk control services to a variety of Atlas clients. Additionally, Chun-Ming will service primarily large construction and general industry-sized risks of unique complexity. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from University of Hawaii at Manoa.

JONATHAN MIZUKAMI joins The Kahala Hotel & Resort as executive chef. He is responsible for the overall culinary direction of the resort’s signature Hoku’s Restaurant, Plumeria Beach House, The Veranda, Seaside Grill and catering operations. Mizukami has over 20 years of experience working in restaurants across the U.S. and internationally, including 10 years as sous chef at The French Laundry in Napa Valley. He previously served as executive chef of Vintage Cave and chef de cuisine at Chef Mavro’s.
