A LOOK AT WHO’S ON THE MOVE ON OAHU
JASON WHITE joins The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach as director of operations. He is responsible for supporting the general manager in leading daily operations of the property. White started his hospitality career nearly 20 years ago with a part-time overnight valet position at Hyatt Regency Sacramento. Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach, he served as director of rooms at Grand Hyatt San Francisco.
MARISA ADARO advances to director of administrative services at The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oahu. Her responsibilities include patient relations, medical staff services and relations, community relations, project management, volunteers, programs and events, patient and family advisory council and chaplain services. Adaro has been at the West Oahu medical center since it opened in 2014. She was the project leader for the pediatric after-hours clinic and oversaw the certification process that led to the center becoming a Blue Zones Certified Worksite.
SHARI KIMOTO steps up to deputy director for corrections at the Department of Public Safety. She has been with the Department of Public Safety since 1994, and is currently with the acting institutions division. Kimoto has served in multiple capacities and positions including mainland branch administrator and interstate compact coordinator, acting corrections supervisor, social worker, inmate classification officer and legislative coordinator.
MIKE B. PIETSCH advances from chief operating officer to president and chief operating officer at Title Guaranty. He will continue to lead the daily operations of both the title and escrow companies while working closely with his executive leadership team. Pietsch joined Title Guaranty in 2004. He is a graduate of Carroll School of Management at Boston College and holds a MBA from the University of Hawaii – Shidler School of Business.
