A LOOK AT WHO’S ON THE MOVE ON OAHU

JAMIE KAWAMOTO advances to executive director – marketing and communications at Hawaiian Telcom. She will spearhead the company’s traditional and online advertising campaigns, brand initiatives, website content, social media and customer communications. Prior to joining Hawaiian Telcom in 2013, Kawamoto managed a team of developers for Honolulu-based Tetris Online Inc., and served as marketing director for Avatar Reality Inc.

TODD CONSTANTINO steps in as director of dining services at Kahala Nui. Constantino has more than 25 years of professional culinary and kitchen management experience in private club, retail and hotel settings. He most recently was executive chef and beverage director at Embassy Suites by Hilton Oahu Kapolei.

KEVIN SHIMAMURA advances from assistant vice president to vice president at Bank of Hawaii. He continues his responsibilities as an audit consultant in the Internal Audit Department, where he oversees large audits of the finance and accounting functions of the bank to ensure financial and regulatory compliance, and to mitigate potential risks. Shimamura joined Bank of Hawaii in 2016. He has more than 11 years of audit experience with both national and local accounting firms.

MELISSA CRETSINGER joins Parents And Children Together as human resources director. In addition to working with the leadership team to advance the mission of the statewide nonprofit, Cretsinger will lead the organization’s HR policies and programs to support its goals and its 400 employees. She has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, both in Hawaii and the mainland.
