JANE PAGE joins City Mill Co. Ltd. as merchandising manager. She will be responsible for the overall leadership of the company’s merchandising department and will oversee product offerings, strategy, pricing and inventory management for the organization. Page has had nearly 30 years of experience in merchandising, operations, strategic brand management and marketing.
KYEONG “KEN” MOK LEE steps in as regional sales manager for the Korean market at Hilton Hawaii where he is responsible for developing and increasing group and tour business from Korea for various Hilton properties in Hawaii. Lee joins Hilton from JTB Global Travel Service where he recently served as the sales and planning manager.
NATE GYOTOKU joins Junior Achievement of Hawaii as its new president. A native of Hilo, Gyotoku has long been involved in Hawaiian causes and businesses. Most recently, he served as director of sustainability initiatives for Kupu, a nonprofit organization serving Hawaii’s youth. Gyotoku previously served as chief operating officer and director of programs for the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii.
KATHLEEN HIGUCHI advances to director of research administration at Kaiser Permanente. In her new role, Higuchi will develop and oversee strategic objectives, processes and procedures to streamline research and grant administration activities. She will also ensure that research activities are compliant with funding agencies’ state, federal, statutory and regulatory standards. Higuchi is a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
