Staffing agency works for companies, employees
By Don Robbins
The lifeline for any successful business is the quality of its employees, whether permanent or temporary hires.
Knowing this, HiEmployment’s mission to provide Hawaii’s businesses with professionals who know their select industries, and who are trustworthy, is vital, according to the company’s CEO and president, Sean Knox.
“We are currently assisting businesses by providing a wide range of employees on a permanent, temporary and temp-to-hire basis,” Knox said.
HiEmployment is a generalized staffing service that supports the hospitality, accounting, office, labor, banking, agriculture, education, nonprofit and government sectors of Hawaii’s economy. Knox founded the business in July 2010, alongside Matt Delaney and Scott Meichtry.
HiEmployment offers a wide range of products and services, and is among the largest staffing agencies in Hawaii, placing more than 620 temporary employees with companies across all major Islands, as well as employing 25 internal staff members.
“We have offices in Kona, Kahului, Lihue and Honolulu (Downtown and at the Hawaii Convention Center). When clients call needing help, we have the talent ready to go when they need them, where they need them,” Knox added.
“The staffing team for HiEmployment all have exceptional customer service skills,” Knox added. “Their job is to ensure the complete satisfaction of not only the businesses we service, but the employees we place to work as well. Only when a match is satisfactory for both parties is the placement successful.”
Since starting a little more than seven years ago, the business has changed and adapted accordingly, proving its dedication to the companies it works with and the employees that it hires out.
“HiEmployment has evolved to meet the needs of our clients. When we first started, our focus was primarily on filling positions for administrative and accounting professionals. Since then, we have moved into staffing labor, hospitality, education and agriculture labor,” Knox shared.
“If a client we service comes to us with a request that we have not staffed in the past, we will find a way to get them the talent they need,” Knox added.
According to the company’s website, its mission statement emphasizes HiEmployment’s promise to always offer impeccable service.
“At HiEmployment, everything we do is inspired by our mission and values. Since inception, HiEmployment has been a company committed to ensuring our client’s success by offering new and innovative ways of doing business. We helped redefine the industry by bringing higher levels of service, integrity and transparency. Today, we are a company proudly serving clients statewide, supporting a multitude of industries and professions — we’re rich in talent and expertise and incredibly thankful of the trust thousands of employees place in our programs and services every day.”
