Agency links businesses with the right staff

HiEmployment has continued to grow by staying true to its commitment to offer impeccable service and remain dedicated to ensuring its clients’ success by providing new and innovative ways of doing business.
Since launching its operation nearly eight years ago, HiEmployment has expanded to serve clients statewide, and supports a multitude of industries and professions. Its network of talented and experienced employees — who are utilized for both temporary and full-time positions — brings peace of mind and a genuine appreciation from companies and their employees who trust HiEmployment’s services daily.
HiEmployment’s mission to provide Hawaii’s businesses with professionals who know their select industries and who are trustworthy is vital, according to Sean Knox, the company’s president and CEO. The business offers a wide range of products and services, and is among the largest staffing agencies in Hawaii, as it places more than 900 temporary employees daily with companies throughout the state, and employs 29 internal staff members.
“We are currently assisting businesses by providing a wide range of employees on a permanent, temporary and temp-to-hire basis,” Knox said. “We have offices in Kona, Hilo, Kahului, Lihue and Honolulu (Downtown and at the Hawaii Convention Center). When clients call needing help, we have the talent ready to go when they need them, where they need them.”
HiEmployment is a generalized staffing service that supports the hospitality, accounting, office, labor, banking, agriculture, education, nonprofit and government sectors of Hawaii’s multi-faceted economy. Knox founded the business in July 2010 with Matt Delaney and Scott Meichtry.
“The staffing team members at HiEmployment all have exceptional customer service skills,” Knox said. “Their job is to ensure the complete satisfaction of not only the businesses we service, but the employees we place to work as well.
Only when a match is satisfactory for both parties is the placement successful.”
Throughout its work in the Islands, HiEmployment has changed and adapted accordingly, and continues to serve as a crucial staffing resource for the companies it works with to hire out employees.
“HiEmployment has evolved to meet the needs of our clients. When we first started, our focus was primarily on filling positions for administrative and accounting professionals. Since then, we have moved into staffing labor, hospitality, education and agricultural labor,” Knox said. “If a client we service comes to us with a request that we have not staffed in the past, we will find a way to get them the talent they need.”
According to the company’s web-site: “At HiEmployment, everything we do is inspired by our mission and values. We helped redefine the industry by bringing higher levels of service, integrity and transparency.” Additional information and potential opportunities can be found at hi-employment.com.
